Welcome to People with Disabilities and SD Awareness. "SD" stands for Service Dogs, nevertheless we talk about other types of service animals as well as service animals in training. This forum was created in Sept. 1, 2008 for the main purpose of having everything easy and accessable in one place. It's a forum where one may discuss any type of disabilities (visible and / or invisible) as well as service animals. We are dedicated to keeping People inform and up to date on the latest stuff. Talk about medical issues, what works, what doesn't. Brag about things too as we cannot forget those little things. Vent about whatever is going on in our lifes, (ie family, friends, co-workers, even neighbours, etc).
You do not have to be a person living with a disability or have a Service Animal to join our community. There are plenty of worthwhile information here along with lots of opportunities for a variety of discussions. Please feel free to register after you had time to kick off your shoes and sit a spell and take it all in.
