I thought this was such a touching story (link below). It illustrates the difference a service dog can make in a person's life.

When most people hear "service dogs" they immediately think of Seeing Eye Dogs first and lately, because of more publicity, Hearing Dogs, service dogs who open refrigerator doors, pick up dropped objects, accompany the wheelchair bound to school or business carrying backpacks with needed papers/books etc., and alert Dogs We are not aware of all the other ways that service dogs help us and this video is also an enlightening view into some of the other ways that dogs can serve humans. They are indeed best friends to us.

It's really nice to see articles that talk more about Service dogs for PTSD. Although it's not just veterans but they are seeming to get the most exposure. Which is good because then maybe more people will be aware of such invisible disabilities. I just read something about the House or Senate just passed a bill for a Program for Veterans being able to get a trained service dog. Cannot remember where I saw it and of course I didn't copy it for later to share. Maybe somebody else may have that article or come across it.

However I am still glad that there are exposure so the general public become more aware of these types of service dogs. Thanks.
